MAXe framed
MAXe framed: freestanding modular shelving units
MAXe framed is a freestanding, four-post display shelving unit that stands anywhere on the shop floor, with no wall needed. Start with two fixed end frames, join them with rails, then drop in tops and shelves to build a modular shelving unit 600, 900 or 1200 mm wide. Frames and metal parts come in black sand or white sand, and laminate parts in black or white:
- End frames: 2100 mm high and 632 mm deep, forming the four posts of a strong metal shelving unit.
- Joining rails: a 51 mm joining rail at the top and a 120 mm base joining rail at the bottom, each with a MAXe lock at both ends for a secure connection.
- Drop-in tops: 18 mm laminate tops in black or white, or 51 mm metal tops in black sand or white sand, 572 mm deep.
- Drop-in base shelves: laminate or metal base shelves with brackets and shelf pins, for stock under the display.
As a modular display system, MAXe framed works with other MAXe shop fittings and accessories to display fashion, homewares, gifts and hardware. For a lower retail island display, see MAXe gondolas, or for a shop display stand you can move, see MAXe mobile displays. Browse the MAXe photo gallery for ideas, or book a free installation consult.
MAXe framed FAQs
What do I need to build a MAXe framed unit?
For one bay you need two end frames, a joining rail at the top and a base joining rail at the bottom, all in the same bay width. Add a drop-in top and a base shelf to finish it. For displays 1800 mm or higher, we recommend an extra joining rail in the middle, so add one to every 2100 mm framed unit.
How big is a MAXe framed unit?
Frames are 2100 mm high and 632 mm deep. Bays are 600, 900 or 1200 mm wide, and tops and base shelves are 572 mm deep to sit inside the frame.
Should I choose laminate or metal tops?
Laminate tops are 18 mm thick in black or white, for a clean, flat surface. Metal tops are 51 mm thick in black sand or white sand, matching the frames for a solid, all-metal look.
What's the difference between MAXe framed and a MAXe gondola?
MAXe framed is a tall 2100 mm freestanding shelving unit you build bay by bay. A MAXe gondola is a lower H-frame island display with a 1200 mm centre bay and two 600 mm end bays, in 1240 or 1480 mm heights.
